Make ads responsive

I have ads from 2015 that are fixed, and maybe that's why they were archived. I want to replace them with responsive ads. Do I remove the old ads first, or do I leave them there (since they are not visible) and put the new ads underneath?

It depends on the implementation? Did you paste the script or you are using any sort of plugin?

I pasted the script, which oddly I can't find anymore ...
Can google remove its script from my files? It can't can it?

If the old ads are creating a load on your site, I recommend removing them. It would make sense to add it completely again if it won't be too much loss of income for you.

Thank you for your answer Greenhorn.
I would prefer to remove all my ads and put in new ones.
    But does Google permit it?
No offence Greenhorn but you seem very new here too.
What do other members of the community think... Can I remove my ads and put in new ones?
