Well did he do it? I'm interested but it doesn't sound like he had the proper tools to succeed. It take's a lot more then just the 'want' to make sales that fast, in fact it takes lots of time and effort... however if you enjoy what you do time just goes by!
Try putting an ad on craigslist selling golf lessons. When you get replies, tell the customer you are all booked up, but recommend this great golfing guide.. That should get some hits in no time.

thank you.. ya i know there are tonnes of niches for this one. I've got the brain going now. I actually just thought of it off the top of my head.. although I do get my inspiration of such CL techniques from places abroad
