Believe me when I tell you that undertaking this type of online business with the assumption that you can just select any old hosting company for 99 cents a month that claims unlimited space and bandwidth, and trusting that everything will be just fine is a DEADLY MISTAKE!!

First of all, ABSOLUTELY NO SHARED HOSTING CAN BE UNLIMITED.

And, most hosting that you purchase is just that, shared. Even if it doesn't say so, if the prices are relatively low, then you can bet your sweet bippy that your hosting account will be placed on a shared server. This means that you will be 'sharing' your hosting space with various other parties, or people, that also use this company for their hosting needs.

Now, the reason why no shared hosting can in fact be 'unlimited' is because the servers are loaded with all those different websites with an array of specific needs. So, to keep things in 'check', and the server running as smoothly as possible, hosting companies must come up with a Terms of Service policy banning certain processes for use on their servers that will overload them. Or if you prefer, slow them WAY down. And in some cases, stop them cold. Which, sorry to say, includes downloading just about any file type you can think of.

Needless to say, selecting the RIGHT host from the very beginning will lessen your headaches later on. Of course there will still more than likely be downtimes and outages, but those can be handled a LOT easier than having to move your ENTIRE membership website, let me tell you!
