I don't think that thread starter can close the thread . instead you have to report your starting post (if the link available for you) and request the Mod to close thread ! the link to report is ( replace * with p ) : htt*://forums.digitalpoint.com/report.php?p=5621821 Edit : And you may also edit the title of your post ; if it is available . go for the advanced editing : that is click first on Edit button of your first post and next click on "Go Advanced" button . now you can put [closed] word before your thread title .
^ perhaps the first post on the thread needs to be edited with " No need for more responses " at the top . one may also report the thread to a Moderator to close the thread . I wish the thread starter had an option to close the thread . I have also suggested to edit the title of the topic with [closed] word !
