I agreee .info`s are a bad idea..all though some people say they can rank well with them.
I only buy .com or .org etc. and use a godaddy coupon.
If your Key word is in the domain then you can rank well.

This is some great info. I already started implementing the things I found here and hope to get indexed soon. I read through over 20 pages of this thread but got bored so forgive me if these questions have already been answered.

1. I chose a domain name to match my exact keyword. Will having a 1 page site (other than About us/contact/privacy policy...) hurt my chances of ranking? I thought having 2 more pages of content only somewhat related to the keyword wouldn't be of much use. Wouldn't they not get as much exposure? Would 3 1 page sites be better than 1 3 page site with 3 different keywords?

2. How important is the "Wait to get ranked to put adsense on" part? I kinda wanted to make the site, promote it, and forget about it for a month or 2 and see what happens.

Thanks again for the great info. This is really what I needed right now. I gave up on adsense a few years ago and the $60 a day I was making on clickbank just dropped to $0 so I hope this works!

I'm sorry I haven't been around but I just did a tour of southeast asia and japan, and am finally back home. All I can say guys, is to start small and watch your sites grow. I've had several people message me now and thank me that they now have sites making $1-2 a day in a week. Now imagine you have hundreds of those sites??

The world is there for those who take it.

 

So I guess the money for the trip were earned from this online job...
