Bug Mak forum as read?

    Why is this function aint working on IE8 ? Only "mark ALL forums as read" works.

    Not sure.. Have you tried with a different browser to see if it's something specific to IE or not?

    Just tested on Fiferox 3.6.13 and its not working as well. Maybe something with my profile? I didnt visit DP for a long time.

    Also, in IE8 it doesnt remember me and I need to log in after 20 minutes, in Firefox it does remember me. strange.

    Do you have something on your computer that might be blocking cookies or altering the output of pages (ad blocker for example)?

    Ive got Kaspersky anti banner and http scanner on, but I set it up the way like it doesnt scan IE, but does scan Firefox, so that shouldnt be an issue. In IE8 I can log in fine to other sites, well, to this site as well, its just doesnt remember me for some reason when I tick the checkbox.

    Additional info: when I hover on "Mark this forum as read" I can see the url in the status bar, but when I click nothing happens. I guess its something missing for the 2nd option "Mark this forum as read", because all other options in the menu are clickable for me and work fine (post new thread, view parent forum, etc.)

    Well it's not supposed to go to a new URL. It's an AJAX request, so you click it and all the icons for the threads you see on the page switch to the icon for read threads. I just double checked that it's working in Firefox and it seems to be working fine for me.

    I see, did you check on IE? I just logged in in IE8 fine with 'remember me' checkbox ticked, and when I clicked on 2nd page of the forum, guess what, Im not logged in anymore. I guess will have to use firefox then.

    But the function 'Mark this forum as read' still not working for me, only works 'Mark Forums as Read'. By the way, when I click on 'Mark Forums as Read' it does change the url for me, no ajax stuff as supposed to be maybe.

    Anyways, just wanted to let you know, I can cope with that.
