    You must have some sort of analytics to tell you where it's coming from, right? It happened to me once - ten times as many uniques in one day. Further investigations revealed I'd been chosen as Feedster (PR8) feed of the day. That was a good day for me.

    if the right kind of scraper site picked your site's RSS Feed up, that could be a big reason for the surge. A site i check up on just experienced it
