MAJOR Suggestion to help solve Spam/Hi-jacking Problem

    This will really work IMHO​



    What would really benefit DP would be to add a feature to the New Thread post window pane with these options:

    1. No user can post/reply without a post count of 'xx'
    2. No user can post/reply without a i-trader count of 'xx'
    3. No user can post/reply without a start date of 'xx/xx/xxxx"

    What does everyone else think of this? This would allow each thread starter a low level mod access control for their thread.

    Sorry, not going to happen. It would cause all sorts of complaints I'm sure... The best solution to spam/thread hijacking is just use the "Report This Post" option.

    It was an idea that was sparked by a fellow DP'ers clammering sales thread, a bunch of apparent noobs, commenting about maddness...

    Though, can understand why this idea would be nixed.
