I can see little changes for my site, the broad key word was #1 in google lost the position to 5th page. rest of the SERP looks as it is.
Caffeine is hitting on about 3 data centers off and on but it's certainly not out yet. I think 99% of the people here can't tell the difference between holiday serps, normal serps and Caffeine.
Yes, I have a keyword I was tracking jump 15 spaces in the last day. Hope all my top ranks stay there.
Checked my SERP for our major keywords today n BAM! Not there so what should I do .... so helpless but to wait to hope I will come back in action. Anyone else have the same treatment?
I have noticed over the last day or so some of my major keywords dropped like a brick but have just checked and they are on the way up again,a little worrying when that happens.
@andig28 the worry is over as they are all coming back up but it does make the heart skip a few beats when you see all your hardwork drop down but panic is over.
@megaB I am glad on your part I guess I will hafta wait it out since this has only been like three hours that I lost some of my rankings terms. How long did it take for you in see it bounce back??
I was surprised to find my site appearing on the first page for the keywords I have targeted months ago. I guess my blog post has really helped the rankings and even if google drop my site entirely, I still have my list to work on. I'm also looking at other 2nd tier search engine like adbrite, adready.... anyone have good results from 2nd tier search engines?
That's all we can do I guess. One of my major keywords went from 1st in Google UK to nowhere overnight and another from 1st to 15th. Traffic is down big time. Fingers crossed they come back.
Yeah i read several webmaster forums about competitor ranking higher than of a blog with better PR and large backlinks. Domain Age for SERPS is still out there haunting site optimizers like myself :|
