Major Search Engines?

Hey guys, what search engines, except for Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask, provide search results not powered by previously mentioned engines?
If there any info about what market share they have or about what search engines are powered by others, please provide me with link...

gigablast used to have its own index, its own crawler too. I don't know about the others (and my info may be outdated already.)

There was a time when Altavista, Lycos, Hotbot, Go!, and Excite were major search engines.

Actually most of them display results powered either by Yahoo, Google or MSN

Ask seems to remain as stand-alone

Yahoo! owns Inktomi, AlltheWeb, and AltaVista. AlltheWeb
and AltaVista now return results from Yahoo!’s ‘tweaked’ Inktomi engine.
DogPile- results from Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask
    Google feeds Netscape,AOL,EarthLink
Ask.com (AskJeeves.com) has its own search engine, and feeds some other systems — such as MyWay, Lycos, Excite,IWon and HotBot.

    The important systems are:

    Google (http://www.google.com/)
    Ask (Ask.com)
    Yahoo! Search (http://www.yahoo.com/)
    MSN Search (http://search.msn.com)

Statistics are for U.S. Internet users:
    Google.com 46.2%
    Yahoo.com 22.5%
    MSN.com 12.6%
    AOL.com 5.4%
    My Way 2.2%
    Ask (AskJeeves) 1.6%
    Netscape.com 1.6%
    iWon 0.9%
    Earthlink 0.8%
    DogPile 0.9%
    Others 5.3%

No, I think Lycos is powered by MSN. (you can compare the results)
And MyWay, Excite and HotBot works exactly as DogPile. (they return results from Google, Yahoo and MSN as well).
The only SE fully powered by Ask is IWon.

Anyway thanks for the info! Link to the source would be nice... :D

You may want to take a look at this page that has links to all kinds of statistics about competing search engines.
    http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=reports

Who Powers Whom? Search Providers Chart
    http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2156401

As for news search engines I operate Newslookup.com and we still power our own results for the moment.
