    Major Retailers Selling Used games as New Games?..

    How can Trade Practices Authority allow this?

    Here are the facts;

    Some Major Videogame Retailers will sell you a brand new game that you can
    play for a week, then return it to them for full refund or store credit.
    The Retailer will then.. Sell that game back to the unsuspecting public as a brand new game and at the New game price.

    How they get away with it, i'm stunned.:rolleyes:

    It is a standard instore 7 day return policy for the 2 major Game Retailers here in Australia.

    What a Rort.

    I can name them if you want.
    Any Auusie gamers on this forum will support what I've said.

    I know what you mean I have gotten some pretty shady looking "new" games from gamestop over the years.

    Well, if you are speaking of Australia, then there is no suprise there.

    Most anything related to video games in Australia is retarded (love the culture there though).

    As for the US, I don't know if they can do that. I have NEVER purchased a brand new game that didn't look brand new or that didn't have that new game smell....

    TERRANIGMA would have to be one of the exceptions.
