Established in 1999, My Merry Christmas is a Christmas portal filled with 100% unique content, is largely handcoded and sports a unique professional design. The site is:

- Thousands of Google Backlinks
- Top-Ten ranked in Google, Yahoo, MSN Directories
- Referenced in Wikipedia on several topics
- Highly ranked in several Christmas related key words
- A known and respected entity within the online Christmas community
- Has several loyal year-round advertisers
- Represents the professional work of hundreds of writers, programmers and artists over the years
- Is Profitable

This sale includes two subdomains, both the tops in their niche -- Merry Forums.com and Merry Top 50.com.

The forums have nearly 1500 members and 23,000+ posts. They are active year-round.

The topsite has 100+ active year round members.

Why am I considering a sale?

Because I've taken the site about as far as I can given my time and resources. It can make a whale of a lot more money than it does if affiliate links and products are incorporated into it. I haven't done that for two reasons -- one, I've got an ethical problem commercializing Christmas. And two, I have't the time to develop it to that level. It can easily go there.

This site has heart and soul. It is absolutely 100% unique and I'm not entirely sure I want to sell it. It has been my baby for more than a decade and it has a following that developed through an offline publication born in 1991 that migrated to the Internet. It has a very faithful following, we've garnered national media attention with it and it has unlimited potential for years to come for an organization with the resources and vision to take it to the next level.

I am only interested in serious inquiries. There are plenty of resources out there to independently research how old this site is, how well it is linked, where it ranks and how established it is within the online community. Please note that it is a seasonal site. In November and December we have outrageous traffic. Not so in June. Realize what you are getting into with that, it is a totally different beast to manage than most sites out there due to the seasonality.

I am not open to discuss revenue or traffic in detail on a public forum. It is significant.

I have poured thousands of hours and thousands of dollars into this project over the years. I am expecting $XX,XXX for the sites, domains, content, etc. I will continue to operate the site on an editorial basis through the end of the year. We do have some advertising that is sold through June of next year. I will not sell this site to the wrong party and would rather hang on to it than see it fall apart.
