hello there, i am really going nuts with this problem and i hope here i will get some form of help, highly appreciated. so for work i have to login often to this website > https://webadmin.ccbill.com/ and http://affiliateadmin.ccbill.com/ - these websites are on a https connection and when you login to the page, you should get a cookie and then you access it. this always used to work, but then all of a sudden stopped working, i have 2 machines, my regular work machine, where it used to work until "something" happened and then my laptop which has a very new windows installation just had same thing going on,on the desktop i have IE 8 and on the laptop i have IE 7. on a side note, i tried these websites on a different machine connected to the same network, say my dads computer and works fine, so indeed is "something" that happened on my machines. other than THIS problem both machines run fine and i ran every kind of anti spyware, malware and so on, im pretty good at doing maintenance on the comps but this time it really got my nerves. i have done extended tests, removed add-ons, reinstalled javascript, resetted IE to "factory defaults" with the new option from the advanced page, etc etc. and this is the ONLY website that is not working when it comes to cookies....the website has both javascript and cookies that go together with so it could be even something to do with the java setup even tho it's new and other websites with java stuff work. on a side note, i even tried safe mode...same thing happened, also tried creating a new user (admin priviledges...same thing happened). when i first load the websites i put here, they both LOAD, then if i put my user and password there (correct), then it writes the cookie but NOTHING happens. if i do put a wrong password, the cookie does not get written and i can refresh the page. if i try to refresh the page after i put the correct login and after it got stuck, it will NOT load again, until i delete the cookie... and doesn't matter which one of the ccbill links we're talking about since it happens the very SAME thing with both. yet ccbill has a system that tracks the links since it's they are a payment processor, and the code is http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi? and then you put the target url, kinda like a sponsor system.... now AGAIN, if i previously visisted the web admin or affiliate admin and tried a login, then http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi? gets stuck and i never reach the "landing" page, again, because there is a conflict with the cookies. can anybody give me a hand on this??? im really going crazy. my guess is that something happened in the registry or firewall, (just been removed and reinstalled though). many thanks in advance, in case my mail is - msn and icq 132516819 ciao! gabrio
