Mine started in mid-March. Solid 5 year SERP, than bam down 15 places. It happened right around when Google started talking about site speed as a factor. That's the only thing I can attribute it to. My competitors have super simple less than 30K per page sites. Ours average 100K a page.

Needless to say, we are redesigning the site as we simple for neater code.

Stay away from bad link neighborhoods. Any time you are not sure of a link or have user generated content, use the nofollow tag. I just learned that the hard way. I'm pretty sure that is the penalty, I got.

There was a change in the beginning of April, I am not sure if Caffeine was rolled out.

Has anyone noticed that recently (today) google insights is showing dramtic drop in search volume for most keywords generally? This is quite perplexing.

I noticed this when doing an insights search for my main keyword, "foscam"

I got a bit worried and then checked my competitors "vivotek" and "mobotix" they were all down in search volume as well.

It looks like my whole niche is losing volume "wireless ip camera"

I wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else.

On the bright side, I am still making sales so all is good, just my search volume is dropping.

    1) see if any bad links are found or if you don't comply with google in anyway if you find something make changes and put a note into google for removal of a penalty. 2) Go over your whole site and compare it to top competitors. What do they do that you don't? compare links too. SEO spyglass is a great tool to look at their links and sheerSEO. Figure out what you need more of. 3) Link Build, Link Build, Link Build, Link Build, Link Build, then Link Build just one more time.

Web traffic and revenue could sometimes dip and drop due to the natural web trends and changes. If you take a look at the statistics posted online about the business terms, some monthly changes would happen and be experienced.

Where does most of your traffic come from?? If you use free methods maybe try increasing your Search Engine Ranking by increasing the amount of incoming links to your website as well as update your content more frequently.
