What if my website has no cache in Google? This is my case... Should I allow Googlebot to cache my website in order to get validated? Will I loose any weight because of this?
Shawn, How about creating Country categories ? Not only theme categories but also small subnetworks of sites only from one country. This country-specific network should support proper encoding of characters. What do You think ?
Not sure yet... might just get a penalty on the weighting algorithms or something. Best thing to do would allow cache. The ad network is definitely going to be broken into categories. I'm not entirely sure how to approach the issue of categories that isolate themselves from the ad network though. They don't do *me* any good (personally), yet they take my time and resources. One idea I've tossed around would be for the isolated sub-networks (outside of the primary network) would be to allocate 1 out of every 10 ad impressions to be sold to not ad network sites or something. Totally open for ideas or comments on this BTW. I really don't need a million sites taking up resources that don't benefit anyone in the main network.
I am selfish. Pharma, adult, etc. sites will be more aggressive than your standard co-op user, which may increase the speed that the SEs take action against the network (and the primary network will get swept up as well) or the network's methods. On the other hand, others will create/are creating alternate networks either way.
Not sure about using the Google cache? It's been pretty messed up lately. At least for me. Their showing old pages that were deleted over a year ago and few current pages. Using their cache in the current condition would basically screw me when in fact ads are displayed on all my pages. There has to be a better way?
