majestic seo - no more free bulk backlinks checker - get greedy and hungry for $$$$$$$$$$

    today i check and see that there is no more bulk backlinks checker at majestic seo (20 domains at once)

    any company that respects itself give something for free for their member EVEN GOOGLE.
    they choose no more free and only $$$$$ for their services. I respect their services but I hate when someone thinks about bigger than others ...

    Like most people, I like the freebies. But we need to be realistic. Why should Majestic SEO tie up their servers and consume their bandwidth for free? Somewhere along the line, you have to make a buck.

    I have to agree with Jim...Along with that, this is a very common business practice. Release something free of charge, get people hooked, then charge them. It's business ethics 101 and believe it or not, it works. With that in mind, they are probably constantly growing as well..Maybe they're getting to a point the server costs are outweighing the benefits of offering their services for free.

    Yeah, pretty normal business move.

    On the other hand, i recently run into a free backlink checker that seems to be a promising alternative to the paid majestic, called open link profiler. You may want to check it out (not associated with them). Where some seo companies fail to deliver, new ones emerge. So not that big of a worry for me. The problem with backlink checkers - all of them - is that they all have incomplete data, no one can raise above the noise.

    There are some free backlink checkers but those can't give you a very accurate results. In order to achieve that you really have to subscribe to a paid tool.

    Ahrefs has been far worse. Can't expect free forever. Majestic has been very generous for a long time. Thank you Majestic.
