Main site and child site

    Hi

    I have main site Ittechsolution.com and has child site secrets.ittechsolution.com/
    My main site PR is not increasing, past two years holding site, updating the content and doing back links.

    Does the child site is affecting main site for PR ?

    What could be the reasons for not increasing the PR ?

    Today My main site got PR 3 after i moved the child contents to main site and deleted the child URL

    your pr increased today due to latest PR update. not for moving your child site/subdomain to the main site
