main keyword for my site

Hi all, just a question..

I use a slight different keyword to optimized our site.. I use now 'short sale' and my site is www.theieu.com

I think its hard for me to optimized because the keyword is far different from the url..anyone could help me find ways to optimized and get the keyword be in high rank?

the url doesnt need to be in context of ur main keywords, but it helps a lot

 

You do offpage optimization by the keyword you targetted. It helps alot.

 

It is still possible for your site to rank well in search engine if you do on-page and off-page optimization on your site.

Try to optimized the content for your targeted keywords, And build links using your targeted keywords as anchor text.

 

I'd have to agree, build backlinks and using that exact phrase as your anchor text is your best bet. Make sure those backlinks are on sites "relevant" to what that phrase means. Also, consider using that keyword in your heading tag structure on your main web page and change your home anchor to that specific phrase.

I am sure you have done wide keyword research before deciding this keyword otherwise you are no where when you reach 1st position.
Secondly the worst thing i found many times is dead keywords which is nothing but merely a wasting of time, energy and resources so be careful before selecting any keywords
Do onpage and off-page both to get rank and index fast.

 

First of all do the keyword research by google external keyword tool, after then decide what you need to target. If the URL of the site is not as the keyword its not a problem you can also boost your site. set the Meta tags of your site then Content and also do Offpage activity you will sure get in ranking..
