Hi I have a question that has been on my mind for ages! Now everyone has a landing page off the route domain right. And Id suspect its obviously the most popular hit page as its the entry point in general to the website, eg www.domain.com But if you have a site that has numerous products what is the relationship between the link building of the domain, eg www.domain.com to the product pages eg www.domain.com/product1.html Do you have to do equal amount of link building for the product page or does the ranking of the domain determine high how the product pages are ranked in google? How best is it to get the product pages high as well?
All your pages nave to be interlinked in way it is logical for the human reader and the bots. Combine in categories, use breadcrumbs. Getting links for each and every page is essential for that page to rank well by itself. You can do so by writing relevant tips and content for product, create videos and etc that people will link to.
domain.com shares links juice with domain.com/product.html if it is linked correctly and set up, but pushing product up efficiently you have to get links directly to the product.
