What are the values of mailinglists? worth reselling? I have more as 800k. How much are these worth? Can I resell them?
depends how you got these 800k emails, as tbh you can only use or sell them if they opted to be contacted by other companies when signing up! to me it sounds like they wer collected by a web spider, so isnt allowed it would be classed as spam.
Yes it depends on how you collected this ids, also wht info you have about your mailing list, like age group, income group, location etc.

What info do you have for the emails? Do you have their opt-in info...IP, etc? Do you have any records of revenue you yourself have generated of this email list? I imagine you can treat it like a domain and appraise it based on projected revenue using your previous revenue marks that you have acheived with the list.
Just to clear up some misinformation above.... There are absolutely NO laws about selling emails no matter how you obtained them....that is why all these companies can sell emails lists. HOWEVER, anyone who buys email lists...no matter how they were obtained....runs the risk of spam charges if they mail to any list they buy. It is clear that the person you email to must be opted in to you... If you buy a list, those people are opted in to the person who compiled the list....if he compiled the list legally....not you. If you are charged with spam, you must be able to produce that person's optin request or form. if you can't...and you can't when you buy a list....it can get quite messy with your ISP, your host provider, and maybe even the law. If you sell the list(s), you are selling to someone who obviously does not know spam laws...because they would be crazy to run the risk of spam charges and tarnish their reputation....unless they don't give a rat's ass...which seems to be what is becoming the norm online today.
