Mailing Friends or Using Social Network or Using IM ?

    what do you like to do to keep contacts with your friends?
    i prefer emails...i like to write...but sadly my friends don't:)
    most of them go for Orkut. a few sometime chat.

    here is my preference:
    1.email (though the least used...i don't want to send emails to myself:D)
    2.chat
    3.social network

    i always prefer IM's to contact my friends as you know its faster and instant.

    IM and social networking is best.. e-mail is so slow... and adding attachements is a pain.

    I use multiple ways to keep in touch with my friends, IM, mail, and SNS .
    Actually they have their features and are not exclusive way of contact .

    Email first, MSN next, then AIM

    Email for business, or people that dont do IM's

    MSN for friends i meet online only.

    AIM friends in real life and some others

    I vote for IM too as it name it is instant.
    I also use Social network to get update with them too.

    Email is the last choice. I use it mostly for a message to send to a lot of friends at a time.

    I'm not a fan of social networks. I have a Facebook, but I only use it to keep in touch with friends that I've known from school, I don't visit it often. I prefer IM.

    I do use mail for the older ppl - like family-members n stuff - but for friends at my age (about 16-20) I use mostly IM and facebook, and for the ones which r using it: Twitter.
