Both offer their free program, but which should I go with? The #1 thing that I'm looking for is WORKING ON BLOGGER. MailChimp didn't seem to work on WordPress, so. The #2 thing I'm looking for is more emails being sent out (No, I don't want to spam, maybe one email a day) The #1 thing is the amount of subscribers, but by the time I get 100, I should already have sales and will be able to convince my parents to upgrade (either to Aweber, or probably higher in the service I start with) to a paid service. Thanks.
MailChimp has an issue with affiliate offers. Where is that line drawn? Obviously JV ventures could be considered affiliate. GetResponse is better (and I think it's free up to a certain point), but AWeber is better still in the long run.
I did quite alot of research on all the available programs before I decided to start with Aweber and I wouldn't change now even if you paid me. I know that isn't exactly an answer to your question but I just think you should also consider Aweber.
1 vote for MailChimp. I tried out MailChimp and GetResponse myself and saw that email from MailChimp comes to Inbox more than GetResponse (I tried with 10 email address, 8 of MailChimp go to the Inbox whereas 6 of GetResponse go to Inbox)
I have MailChimp account. For a free account, you can have up to 1000 subscriber limit. But GetResponse only give you 500 subscriber limit for a free account. As for the features GetResponse probably has better ones.
MailChimp has great tech support, and they're very nice on Twitter if you ever have a question. I think MailChimp's team/employees is/are much better then GetResponse, if it means anything to you. (No, I don't work there )
