Mail from Google to upgrade WP version

HI,

I got this notification today...

"Dear site owner or webmaster of http://www.mydomain.com/, Your site appears to be running an older version of WordPress. Google recommends that you update to the latest release. Older or unpatched software may be vulnerable to hacking or malware that can hurt your users. To download the latest release, visit the WordPress download page. If you have any additional questions about why you are receiving this message, Google has provided more background information in a blog post about this subject. Best wishes, Google Search Quality Team"

Anyone got the similar notification for your WP site?

 

I did not receive any such notification.

 

wow! why should google mind your site? Check properly if your site is hacked or not.What was the email address that send you the mail?

 

Never even heard about any such email. Do check mail headers and see from where it has come. I am sure, Google employee don't have so much free time to check which WP version you are using.

 

These are the mail headers:

Also, I did not share this particular email id other than Google Webmaster & Analytic tools...
