Mail from Google: Pending payment

I received a mail from google today. Mail was sent from <adsense-support@google.com>

Did anybody got a similar mail? It was sent to my google adsense account email but does not have my name or any other information which confirms that it is from google. So was little worried before sending my info.

Check the headers of email to confirm if it is really from google. Also if you have cashed all your checks then it is probably fake or they sent it to wrong person.

They said, before March 2005. So I don't remember. :)
Just replied to it. Lets see. Anyways, I don't see any harm giving my name and home address.

hmmmm... a public company desperate to payout money when you hadn't complained about it in the first place? Doesn't quite add up. If I was a Google shareholder though, I wouldn't be very happy. :)

    Good luck.

Just make sure it is legit. If you know you cashed it, then make sure with your bank...

The email address I replied to is surely legit, as I have communicated with google on that, so the info I sent to ok! :)
Whether I get the check or not is a different story. :D

You should check your Payment History and bank statement.

Do beware though because I am beginning to get a lot emails from payapl and other companies that have a very authentic look to them. However, they are infact fake.

The email address from which it is sent is authentic. I checked the full header. It has originated from google only.
