    Hello DP world,

    I have decided to join the fun here.
    A bit about me:
    - I am 35 at the time of writing this message
    - Living in the UK
    - Own my own IT consultancy and training business and have been making good money from it
    - Am on my way to becoming an accredited NLP trainer
    - Life-coach young people I consider to be worthy of it in my spare time: students and entrepreneurs
    - Wine and food connoisseur
    - Amateur magician. Part of my blog cover my learning and lifetime study of this fascinating subject
    - One or 2 other things

    My goals on DP: learn and start generating the money I am making using a more passive and home-based approach, to create an alternative to my current 150+ days per year of business travelling.

    Come and talk to me for anything that may have to do with any of the above. For the rest, I am a novice and will probably keep quiet for some time, at least in the early days.

    I assume you're refering to the pick-up artist? Yes, I've heard of him, but not as a magic performer. A lot of guys start magic hoping that it'll help them to chat up girls. It does not really work: start the connection with a woman by making you the centre of attention just does not appeal to our Venusian friends.

    I've gone through the Mystery method recently. Some valuable ideas, but a few points I don't like, in particular this idea where you belittle either the girl or the other guys to be perceived as the alphamale. Hinder a woman's confidence to get her in your bed is just...hmmm.... shallow and a proof of a lack of self esteem. In the same way, fight the other hunters is just a mistake, AFAIC: worthy opponents should be fought honorably. Plus, there are more than enough slags, bitches around for everyone ! :D

    There are FAR BETTER ways to obtain a deep level of rapport while remaining ecological to the girl and yourself. That, to me, is real confidence. :cool:
