What do you mean by 'know'? Do you mean to ask about magento development or Magento as a term?

What's better? Magento, or just a wp plugin to turn your wordpress into a storefront?

MoniezOnline, it really comes down to what your requirements are. My firm works extensively with Magento and it is a powerful system, however for the majority of smaller e-commerce setups it will be overkill. If you can give a little more information on how you would be using the system, types of products, order tracking, how you need to tie it into your inventory pipeline I might be able to steer you in the right direction.
