Has anyone here tried magazine advertisements?

I'm heavily considering paying for one out of entrepreneur magazine, since I always look at them, I'm sure millions of others do.

Just a little classified in the back

I think that can be highly helpful, of course it may come with the price. People depend too much on internet for their customers, while great majority of those customers is offline, they read magazines, or come online online to check email, sports results and such and you never reach them.

I have heard great things about 'offline advertising', although not done any myself as yet.
There is a good story I read somewhere about a guy having some shoe laces made with his URL, and gave the laces out to school kids, and another about someone who put stickers on the tube/train/bus with a small slogan and url.

Both cases resulted in some really good traffic, and there are many ways you could tailor these methods to your sites target audience.

Magazine adverts are quite expensive, but could be useful...also think about the larger newspapers, and smaller local classified papers. Ideas are endless...

    Hope that helps
