    Hello All,
I have already been posting here about my site www.w3optimizer.com and the success that it has given to me so far. Now the site itself ranks in the top 4 in 1,170,000,000 Results in Google for the keyword "off page analysis". I also know that there are some ppl here who will go against, It is always there.. I have shown real achievements so will not take those comments serious! Please feel free to post any suggestions.

    How did I achieve it?

You are #3. Good job! The Google Keyword Tool says there isn't enough data to show actual search volume. I would be interested to know if you are seeing traffic from this key phrase.

Does anyone know how high the search volume has to be before Google displays it? I have seen sv's in the low 100's, but nothing under that.

Well, this could be your first step in eventually ranking for "page analysis". That phrase has a search volume of 6,600 per month. That isn't too bad at all!

In quotes your competition is only 14k which is very low and search volume is almost non existent. Basically a useless term to rank for.

"off page analysis" in quotes has only 79 competing pages.

Not trying to discredit you...just thought you should know.

    Cheers

If it's that low who cares?

I mean really does anyone want to target a key phrase that is so low that Google doesn't even bother with collecting data?

the number of raw google results has absolutely nothing to do with the difficulty of a keyword; intitle:"off page analysis" returns two results, that's basically the world easiest keyword to rank for.

the difficulty of a keyword is measured by intitle + allinanchor (anything less than 1000 results is a piece of qake); and also by studying and analysing the strenght of your top 20 competitors, you can rank for "off page analysis" in under 1 week (133 millions results), or you can get stuck for 2 year in the top 30 for a 1 million results keyword because the top 20 is filled with edu, gov and authority sites.

there is really no automatic tool to estimate the competition, it's a manual job.
