Even better, it was a story I wrote especially to get dugg! A friend of mine has recently been trying to become a top digger, so with a submission from him, a digg badge on the story, and a bit of luck I managed to get seriously dugg - two weeks' worth of traffic in an afternoon. My site seems to have survived, much to my surprise! The story is here: http://whatjapanthinks.com/2007/09/16/japans-ten-strangest-qualifications/ If you'd like to see for yourself.
Congrats. But for some reason I'm getting this message when I wanted to dugg your URL "We're sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /2007/09/16/japans-ten-strangest-qualifications/ on this server. You do not have permission to access this server. Your technical support key is: cbc7-d583-a108-4bad You can use this key to fix this problem yourself. If you are unable to fix the problem yourself, please contact seron at whatjapanthinks.com and be sure to provide the technical support key shown above" Hope you solve it soon. Otherwise you might loose some traffic
I haven't a clue where that message is coming from! Perhaps it was a temporary hiccup due to overload? Or perhaps it's because I run Bad Behaviour? Maybe I should upgrade to the latest version of it?
Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing how you did it. I've ben trying and trying but my digging goes nowhere. :-(
I don't think I've ever submitted a page of my own to Digg, because very few of them are "that kind" of content. When I get into list-making I'll start submitting it to Digg and see if anyone bites.
You deserve to be congrulated... The first page is very good and bound to get good traffic and good ranking too.
So how much traffic have you had so far. I'm sure most of the people here are wondering on the figures and earnings as well.
