    Hi!

My name is David Bennett, and I've run different ventures online since 2003... I've sold $900,000 worth of video ebooks I created inside a year, which isn't enough progress to make me a guru by a long shot, but I help where I can, and learn as I go. ;) It's absolutely fun getting my latest site up and going - new projects are always the new 'next step', aren't they though?!

I hope to add a lot to the conversations around this forum, and learn a lot from everyone - we all have our little 'holes' that need filling in!

I have free videos at my website, and if you have a question, maybe I can help. I know a chunk about organic results, directories, and AdWords, as well as a lot of general business consulting concepts applicable to website owners trying to 'bust through' their respective ceilings.

I love getting to know everyone I can, and I love to hear the stories everyone has! It's touching to learn where one had pitfalls... busted through, fell through, got themselves up and brushed themselves off again... and got rolling away again!

See you soon, and more to come.

Hi DomainCo.US, and Thanks for the Welcome...

The site I'm putting together now is:

    Website-Marketing-Solutions.com

It's still being built. I haven't turned to optimization or beautification at all yet; need to get much more content migrated there around the small business client work that takes up a lot of my time currently (Elkhart, IN is a heavy manufacturing hotspot, and the economic downturn has caused the phone to ring a lot more on this end).

However, I do have a few Video EBooks (free) covering different concepts I have found are extremely valuable... you can download one or another and see what you think.

Usually, the biggest complaint about my training is that folks feel like they're trying to sip from a firehose. ;) So I do what I can by 'indexing' the videos for easy back & forth reference.

Anyway, I'll tack on more as I go... in the meantime, feel free to browse, review, and throw questions at me! I love being pressed to excel, and I love to share what I can help with.

Again - thanks for the welcome, and I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you!

wmsolutions.. great that you have made good bucks in a year.. But your two posts sound like more of promoting your business than introducing yourself.. not sure if this is the correct place to propagate your work / services in this forums! But anyway, have good luck!

    Hi designxpert,

    Good point... sorry about that.

    About me -

    1) I believe in doing it yourself... I don't believe in 'winning' things; I believe in making things.

    2) It's not about mass... it's about quality. One good directory listing beats 500 bad ones. One good article that teaches something useful beats 500 short, disconnected pieces.

    3) Usually, any 4 people can add so much to a final project that you get this feeling of wanting to intentionally divide forum environments into groups of 4, and assign everyone a project. Many would work before too long. ;)

    4) I grew up in the Midwest... went to 11 schools between northern Indiana and SW Michigan; 4 high schools.

    5) I joined the military as a nuclear engineer (electrician). I learned the limits of what I can learn and absorb - just how far I can go and that's it, lol... all us students learned that about themselves in that schooling environment. I lived in Orlando, FL for a year, then Idaho (nuclear training facility) for 1/2 year.

    6) I spent 4 years on a military ship - the USS Arkansas... so I lived in San Francisco for 1.5 years, then Seattle for 1.5 years. The rest of the time we were overseas anyway, and usually we always went out for a week or two, after taking a week or two off on land.

    7) I've gotten a taste of the world, I guess... Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, out in the Gulf, Australia.

    8) I had Germans friends; I went to Germany whenever I had leave. After the Navy, I moved to Germany for a year and a half. Lived in a student dorm, took intensive German classes. Met my wife (from Belarus) on a bus into Berlin... just a trip for foreign students.

    9) Got back into the US; got BBA's in Finance and Int'l Business. Married my wife then, and since then, had two boys. They're now 3 and 6, and keep dad busy as the blue blazes. :)

    10) I got online in 2003, and love the heck out of it... It's an incredible world out there when you're traveling, and being online is as close as you get to being everywhere at once.

Well, that's a bit about me...!

    {Taking Bow... "Thank you, thank you, ladies and gentlemen. And for my NEXT act..."}
