I'm annoyed that I cannot show pagerank for my listings because hostgator is not supported by google (blocked, maybe?) to show pageranks. What hosts are you using which is supported by google to show pagerank.
My phpLD directory is hosted at Dreamhost, and I'm don't have any problem in displaying PR or using a script to update the PR. Good luck in your search for a new host.
HOSTGATOR problem? You're wrong. There's no problem with Pagerank on Hostgator. You must only have right script for it. PM for details if you want.
Which is this one dargre? There is a problem with hostgator showing pagerank. Plz lemme know what is the script you using, coz I have to run pr updater everytime.
n-james, it's the LAMERs who always try to plugin their coupons...trust me...make a DH landing page and refer people; that looks better.
Too lazy to PM? One who can think can even maodificate default PLD script to get it work on Hostgator. Anyway I decided for my own function. And as a mod developer I could test it on dozens of directories for my users as in most cases their deafult PR function was not working for them.
Too lazy to share it with the world? Want all the attention via pm's? One who can make mods can also share it with the world so that the default PLD script to get it work on Hostgator or other hosts. Anyway I decide for my own mods to use. And as a mod user I don't think I need to ask any information from a attitude filled mod developer.
Just wanted to help the man and this require sending new files with pagerank function. How can you call pagerank retriever function a mod? This was discussed on PhpLD forums hundreds time. No need to build custom mod. Offered free help. What else can a man do?
Dude I asked you very politely that which is your function, n you gave a bad reply. You could have pointed me to your thread at phpld forums and said, this is what has to be done. Or you can simply create a thread at dp, explaining step by step what can be done, with the files attached. Forex.: The Directory Spy mod, the dude has made his file open and mentioned all things to be done. Same could be done by you, if you wanna. Small such things, contributes big and helps the community largely, trust me.
