Made a mistake, not sure where...

My blog was moving up, yesterday it was between 12 and 36 position in Google. I thought I'll finally make it on the 1. page. Now it is not in first 1000 results.

I pinged it using pingler.com and I approved few spam comments, thought it could help to have some comments. It looks that this comments are made automatically and there is 1000s the same around the net.

Maybe that was it? Don't know what could it be?

I dont think a few comments can have such impact.

Just be patient the SERPs change very often it is quiet possible that tomorrow or within a few days everything is back to normal.

I agree with previous post. Spam comment cannot do damage to your ranking. Spam comments can damage your website reputation and that is it.
It could be google dance and if that the case it should recover.
Another point is if your website is new, google gives some push to these websites at the beginning, and after some time places them where they should be. That I personally felt on my website and also read that here on DP (it sounds strange but who knows).
Also check google safe browsing for your website and also check webmaster tools if you received any message from google. Also check crawling stats and robots.txt (if by mistake you prevented access to whole website).

Don't worry about the comments. Google does "dances" with keywords all the time. Keywords will shoot to the first page, fifth page, tenth page, even disappear and then reappear. It's normal. Sites can get sandboxed if they are new with no PR, little content on the page and very few high quality backlinks. However, just keep link building and you will quickly pull out of the sandbox.

    Type site: yoursitehere

into google and see what shows up. If you're site is not indexed at all then it was completely de-indexed and that's when you should be concerned.

Few blog comments will not make such a huge effect on your blog.Check out that all your pages are cached and indexed or not. Check out for duplicate content. Your link building should be consistent if you generate so many links at the instant and after that you do not build links it will also affect the ranking of your site. Some times it happens so wait for some time generate quality link building. You can check your spam or bad neighborhood links from here

If I pick my nose and somewhere a 1,000 miles away another persons nose starts bleeding at the exact same time do you think there is a correlation?

Seriously if you can do X and get a Y result out of Google by the next day then you are on to something.

Did you even bother to check your log files to see when you were last crawled. Google is just software. They don't crawl most sites every single day.
