The key is that you had your own ebook. That is a stumbling block for many, me included. I got writing phobia.

Sounds like you got great results. Have you done this process before?

I've never been able to get the paypal redirect to work properly, but that has never been a real issue to me. I send the purchaser an email with the download link and haven't had any complaints. Am looking into scripts that will automate it for me.

 

Some of the best EBooks ive used are less than 5 pages!

I'm going to finish my ebooks. One for free to build my list then sell the people on the list the other ebook in a 3rd message. Maybe $5 for even better value. The key is to overdeliver and provide excellent service.

I wonder if you made $744 just from selling the eBooks = you sold 100+ copies? How many eBooks did you sell in those 2 days? Or did the major part of your earnings come from the Clickbank affiliate links in your eBook?

 

You know what this is quite inspiring - just what I need to get myself motivated again. I started writing a book sometime ago but never finished it - it really just needs polishing up a bit to become something saleable.

$7 sounds pretty good if you can sell enough of them

I already have a site that gets plenty of hits so I can advertise on there without having to fork out for AdWords.

That sounds great way of making money. I have thought writing an e-book, I can write, my problem is just that my native language isn't english so I can't write english. At least not good enough.

you should add in a 100% profit margin for anyone who buys it..think about it. if you are tryin to sell me a $7 report i may buy but if you tell me hey you can sell this and make $7 yourself i would be more inclined to buy. how does this help you? more upfront sales but more backend sales as they promote your affiliate links.

I would use sites such as Yahoo Answers - there are a lot of people on this site with a lot of problems.

For example, if someone asks a question "How can I get taller" then you can write a short $7 report on how to get taller and the ways to get taller, even at the age of 30!

People love information.

Once I find specific problems people are trying to solve here's what I will do.

I create a squeeze page that simple has an opt-in form. During this stage my initial aim is to give the first 2 pages of my report FREE so what do people do?

1. They sign up to my opt in box

2. Then they get the FIRST 2 PAGES free. This craves their interest. People will want to read more after this...so what do they do? They buy the report.

Do not forget the more you capture people's email addresses the more chances you can build a relationship and sell to this list time and time again.


So if your niche or problem that needs solving is on something like "How can I become more confidence", you can write a short report, or go to Elance.com and pay someone up to $5-$10 to write a short report, I am sure people will want this information.

People will literally PAY for more information.

There has never been an easier way to make money online guys. I am not talking about PLR products here. I am talking about your OWN products.

Advantages of having your own product

- YOU HAVE TOTAL CONTROL - no need to worry about Copyright issues.

- If you have a good voice why not record a short MP3 player introduction and package it with your e-book? People love things like this. Always think about your target market. Why would people pay for information?

ANSWER - They want their problem solved

Internet Marketing is all about meeting peoples needs so if you provide a PRODUCT (e-book or mp3 player audio) then you are helping them.

Imagine this situation.

You walk in a store and there are so many products. Do you see any products people need? E.G. Toothbrush, shampoo, etc?

These are products people NEED and therefore, will PAY to buy these.

We all know tooth brushes cost no more than a $1 or more in places like Wal Mart or Asda (if you are in the UK).

Imagine these stores selling 1000 toothbrushes in just a few days?

They make $1000 just selling toothbrushes.

Therefore, the same principle applies to Internet Marketing - and the best way to make money is simply SELL INFORMATION (YOUR OWN PRODUCT)
