I had over 3000 clicks but my conversion rate is just 0.53 or sort... made about $13.14 in the last 3 months.. I'm definitely doing something wrong.
High priced products. TV's everything else isn't worth the effort, PPC is out of the question so start a electronics blogs and build up.
Target products that are priced $150 or more. This will help you earn higher commissions. Anything below that is definite no-no.
Nice job, that is more than I have made using amazon. I have sold about 100$ worth of CB products in the last 6 months so I guess I should consider my self lucky seeing as how from what I hear 90% or more of IM quite before they make anything. Keep up the good work.
The original poster is probably using some amazon products sniper sites. For example "redmicrowave.net" or something like that - Snipe that term, build links to it, get on 1st page of Google and slap Amazon links on the page. Some people monetize with adsense but from my experience amazon links yield more $ / click in the long run.
I still developing my micro niche blog with amazon, i don't know if it works or not. Good job anyway man
I made $1018 last month from a single website. The trick? There weren't any tricks. Just blog about something focussed you are interested in and use Amazon associates links. In my case these are primarily links accompanying specific text and pictures about a product and they are geotargetted to the US and UK. A well-blended sidebar widget with a pick of 'recommended products' can also work well - avoid Astores or anything that looks spammy as it simply doesn't work. A small proportion of this income was also from advertising, including a small banner for a popular retailer in my niche and a small amount of Adsense. I am cutting back on the Adsense a lot recently to see how and if it affects my conversion rate on Amazon - I can get up to $25 per item sold but I've yet to come across any Adsense clicks worth any more than a 10th of this in my niche.
Congratulations ! I think most probable I will make $0 this first month. um, my software site seems been punished by google for some reason, maybe for multi-domain parking... who knows... so I started an aom site... if I cannot make some money with it, then I must feed my kids with water & air
