Made $250 With CJ This. How I Can Increase It?

I just starting with affiliate marketing this month and I feel like loosing months as I focus too much on Adsense before. Yesterday I made a sale worth more than $500 and my commission is $98. This sale is simply from a small banner I put on on the top right of my blog. Total for this month with CJ is $244.72. This open my eyes as bis as watermelon cuz on the same day I made only $80 with Adsense from about 500 clicks!

I begin to fall in love with affiliate marketing but can anyone who is more experience give me tips from how I can increase my earning with CJ? what is the methods that always work? Thanks a million in advance

 

post often and just keep sending traffic to your blog, if the ads are relevant to your readers you should do well. and yes, adsense is no good.

 

Try to advertise on other sites/blogs..get highly targetted traffic..

I think affiliate marketing do not like adsense, you site/blog should write as a sales letter, instead of only provide information and let viewer to click your ads.

 

I started CJ three weeks ago. I have had 130 clicks, highly targeted, and not a single sale.

I do much better with AdSense. Great clickthrough rate and high revenue per click.

 

Get more volume towards whatever you see benefitting the most.

 

Even now I did more with adsense but from my analysis I can make more on affiliate marketing. I made another $30 in commision today. Means by increasing my effort and as the previous post suggest, I should write blog post like sales letter. Now that is something I got to learn

One option, reach a larger audience. Try some viral traffic methods or you can go with the paid ones. Research through the threads and I think you will come up with something. Nothing is really new these days, so see what other people are doing.

 

I think adsense is better than Comission junction .

 

I had CJ on my site for 2 yr, just made two sales this month for $26 commission.
My idea was to have a site offering free something I normally charge for - then if the user doesnt see what they want, I have affiliate ads so they can buy it - often at a discount. Not sure if this is a good business model - only have 30 uniques/day now and Google just dropped my PR from 3 to 2. wtf

 

with CJ its all about research and keep promoting different affiliates and you will find out quickly even in the same niche you convert a lot more of on stuff than others

 

You are right. About experimenting, I promotes different products at once and found out which one bring me most money.hehe.

 

If you have shitty traffic you should use adsense. If you have targeted traffic, put cj banners

 

i think cj pays well but i do not know why i can't just make any sale
