With only handful of members I think its not bad. On the best day I earned little over $12. I had quite a few visitors on that day. Thats a start, little coffee money at least.

You right, I have to do some work on that. I learned hard way how important ad position and blending is! For webcosmo.com I pretty much doubled the earnings after finding the right spot and blending the ad with the rest of the site design. That was a good lesson.
Thank you. Earnings are all from AdSense. I think the reason my forum earn more is, I get significant amount of traffic coming from the parent site webcosmo.com If I may suggest experiment with ad positions and blending until you find the right one.
I have a Question i see your Main Site Has a Very High CTR which maybe makes you earn this much with the banner you have on the lower left side ... which was hard to find. But if your users are finding it and clicking on your ads you have a very high CTR there man. I like your forum i hope it works out! .. PS. How old is your site?
I have taken several marketing strategy for the forum. I like to share with you guys, if anybody gets benefited: - Since the forum is a wing of the main site, I took every chance to market it to the members of the old site; without distorting the look of the old site much. - I have sent email newsletter about the forum. - I have added a bulletin on the main site, every member can see the forum link as they log in. I have requested members to join the forum. - Plus I have that on the left navigation of the search results and details pages, where the visitors spend significant amount of time looking at ads. - I have sig links on other forums. These are all basic preliminary steps of marketing. Once the forum gets filled money will come in play and I would start aggressive marketing. But I had to know if it got any chances to survive among all other forums. So far I think its promising. Appreciate all the helps from DP members. I read the AdSense forum here to see the techniques others are using, thats been guiding me make a right decision as well.
