Mad CTR Yesterday, No Clicks Today

I have a couple of highly targeted niche sites (not in my signature) which have low traffic, but a reasonably high click through rate. Yesterday was was out of control. One site had a 60% CTR and another had 25%.

Today, I have traffic, but no clicks listed. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I had this happen and the day it was very high I had a bunch of fraudulent clicks, actually received a nastygram from google telling me they may shut down my site if it keeps up. It did eventually stop, not even sure who or what caused it.
Really however make sure your looking at your click volumes on a longer timeline than a day, as traffic can go from being very high one day and nil the next. Also make sure your site isn't displaying public service ads for some reason, I've also had that happen (not sure why, nothing changed on the site) but that could account for not having any clicks one day.

compare weekly numbers, or even monthly numbers and you will get a much better view of what is happening.

Many times. Welcome to the world of clickers who will click on any thing one day and then shun every thing the next day.

Have several sites. Adsense for over a year, I just thought this was very unusual. I've never had a no click day. Will just sweat it out.

    Thanks for the reassurance.

Averaging the 2 days will probably come close to what you would typically expect. It happens.

There are people out there who are prone to multiple clicks. Depending on your traffic, this may have a significant effect on your CTR.

I had clicks listed for yesterday, when I woke up this morning. So, yesterday wasn't a total loss.

I checked my hosting company's forum and it seems they were having "issues" again with their new data center and while everything was up, all the sites were loading very slowly throughout the majority of the day. I've noticed that slow page loads equal less clicks.

I'd like to thank everyone who "held my hand" while I freaked out yesterday.
