I have recently upgraded my Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks to Macromedia's new release , 8.

Are there anyone who tested these new versions?

Flash is the same style ++ actionscripts ( not ready-made duhh )
Fireworks has more text and image effects

The best improvement I saw in Dreamweaver. The main : CSS styles ( much easier to handle )

Oh....don't waste money on Macromedia FlashPaper 2. Doesn't worth a dime.

Just let me know if you tested them...

    Hi pallk,

I'm using fw8 and the new feature I use most is the convert marquee to path function. Useful for 'vectorising' bitmaps with good contrast.

The best thing about the new flash is what you can do with text and shadows. Its exactly whats been missing. The only problem I have found is with people who don't have the latest player, things get real screwy when you use some of those features.

I recently upgraded to DW8 also. Although it looks the same at first glance, they completely rehauled the core. Lots of bug fixes with this version also.

I think the best thing in this version is now you can upload files to your webserver and have it be done in the BACKGROUND so you can still work while its uploading.
