   Hi everyone... I would like to know how to make a Macromedia Director .exe file with an AVI file that works without plugs-ins, works in Shockwave and I dont want the .exe to search for the AVI file once it is an .exe file. I need to burn this on a CD for a portfolio that works on other PC.

   It's been nearly 10 years since I've used Director - but can't you just put the avi in a directory on the CDR and have the projector pick it up as a linked resource?
