Ok! i have been all my life worked with windows and linux. Never seen or worked with a mac before.
Heard that mac is the best work in the world with flawless OS and design but very expensive! i have seen mac and the work is amazing and so beautiful. No denying it.

Me thinking of jumping to mac world with leopard OS. do you think its just waste of money compared to XP/vista/Windows 7
    what if you were me!

I've also been a PC guy my whole life and I've used both. I have to use a Mac for some of my work. For me it's a matter of preference. People claim Macs are more stable (which may or may not be true) but I'm a PC tech and I rarely have issues with my PC so for me, it's a mute point. - My advice, stick to what you're comfortable with.

I'm not so much of a Mac fan. Never had one... never will. IMO, windows has more customization... and can support more products then a Mac. In general, Macs are simpler to use then a PC, but I don't think of that as a benefit, because Macs don't have that degree of customization and editing for tech savvy people.

I've used both all my time, and let me just say that there is a huge stability issue with the new Macs. They run great for the first few months, but my installs have been clunky with the likes of Tiger/Leopard. It seems like after a few months, it gets REALLY slow and drains all your memory and uses a HUGE chunk of virtual memory - talking about like 4-40GB here. My Windows installs seem to be a little more durable.

A lot of people are wrong with their accusations on a Macintosh computer. First off a mac is amazing if your tech savvy due to the fact that they have better programs for editing media of all sorts from websites to videos. I have had my mac for a year now and its just as fast as it was at the start. You cannot blame speed related issues on the hardware of a Macintosh because its mainly the same hardware used in a PC, therefore your just clueless as to what you are talking about. Also as of a few days ago Leopard is old ;) you should be looking at Snow Leopard. As a person who has both a Macintosh and a Microsoft computer i pick the Mac. Mainly for three main reasons, one being that i am not interested in games and if i was i could buy the new mac that comes with TWO graphics cards. Two, it has a much smaller chance to get a virus or attacked by someone due to the fact that people dont understand / know the coding for a mac and do not bother to learn it since its user base is a bit smaller. Three, the screen on my mac is far better than one you will find on a PC and i enjoy it greatly. :]

Hope this helps, i do not put a windows PC in ANY way, in fact i would recommend doing what i do , and get a Windows PC desktop, and a mac laptop. This way if you play games you have a desktop for it which is better for airflow and can be kept cooler and have beef to it. Then the laptop you can take places it has a large battery life, dual graphics cards, backlit LCD screen which is JUST now being added to PC laptops, backlit keyboard which is also just now being added to PCs, and Snow Leopard can utilize 16 exabytes of ram (16 BILLION GIGABYTES ) Of course if you need more RAM than that you will need to contact someone in the future.

PS. ANY 64 BIT SYSTEM CAN UTILIZE THAT MUCH RAM THIS INCLUDES 64BIT WINDOWS

You don't mention which pc you are considering. You can't compare a mac book to Windows 7 without know the hardware. If you get a good pc, then Windows won't be any better or worse than Leopard. I'm a mac user at home, PC user at work. I like them both equally and don't have problems with either but I have quality hardware in my pc.

I definitely go with Mac if I were you. If you want, you still can use Windows in Mac using the Boot Camp.
