Macbook does not detect an external harddrive

    What could be the problem when Macbook does not detect an external harddrive when the hard disk works perfectly in a Windows-powered laptop?

    Hi There

    What file system is the hard drive in?

    Also have a look at Mac NTFS 3G

    This will let you read / write to NTFS formatted drive from Mac OS
