Mac vs apache.

    I have writen a CGI script that works great on apache. I need it to work on Mac too. What do I need to do to have it work on a Mac server?

    Mac OS X comes with Apache standard. What server are you talking about?

    I need help installing Apache on my MacBook Pro. I don;t know what I did, but I unistalled the one that came with Tiger. I download httpd-2.2.4.tar and follow the instructions that I found on line. Nothing works! I was able to start apache from root. and when I went to http://localhost i see a page that onl says..."IT'S working" but noting about apache. and it doen't find anything in http://localhost/~user....
    I am pretty desperated ow. I don't know what else to do ...
    PLEASE, help me.
