Mac Upgrade to OS10 Problem

    Hi All,

Some friends of mine own a small business and until only recently were running Macs on OS9.

A major reason for the delay in upgrading was their contact management software. It was called CAT (contacts, activities and time) and sold by Chang Labratories in Cupertino, CA. Chang has since gone out of business.

They are having trouble exporting the database to use with their new software. They can get the fields with standard width into Excel with no problems (Company name, address fields, phone numbers etc). It is the notes-type fields they can't retrieve (e-mail, notes, keywords, history, etc).

Has anyone used this software and successfully extracted all of the fields or know of anyone whom we could approach for help?

Please let me know if you have any ideas. At the moment the only option on the table is to cut/paste these fields - not a project any of us looks forward to.

    Thanks.
