Wondering what you mac guys recommend for an FTP client in MacOSx? I am used to SmartFTP for windows.
I am a big fan of SmartFTP as well. On Mac OS X though, my personal favorite is CyberDuck. It's opensource and it has saved me a lot of time when a hacker hacked some of my directories, and CyberDuck showed me what the date stamps were. http://cyberduck.ch/ In the past Fetch was a favorite, but it is not free and it seems that CyberDuck's interface is better.
ive been using transmit for a while now, its great.... but the other day it died i restarted my mac (completely restarted) and ever since it just wont load. Might have to start my comp AGAIN!
I looked at Transmit, but could never pull myself away from Interarchy (formerly Anarchy), which I have used for years. Either one are good choices in Mac land!
I'm using fetch. And this version was last updated in...1996. I got the OSX verson, I just rarly ever use it!! I'm still addicted to classic!!
