Mac or PC?

Obviously, both OS, pros/cons and tech specs are taken into account. However, the ultimate argument is which is better, the Mac (any version (MacBook air/pro, iMac, eMac, Mac Mini, etc.)) or the PC (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.)?

Personally I believe the Mac is better.

Software reasons vary: less viruses, can run both mac/PC programs, etc.
Hardware reasons: Generally faster, Apple are excellent with power management (e.g. turning on).

What do you think?

 

mac is much better but I will only buy windows based to run all my programs as they run better to me

 

I've been working with PC for years and I saved so many files and working projects in my PC. So even I see Mac is awesome but still I prefer my job, not the technology.

 

I love my Mac. But really it tends to be a religious discussion everytime with these kind of threads

 

I work with Windows, Linux, and Mac at work. I have linux (was once windows) and mac at home. I prefer the mac, except as a gaming machine. That will be windoze until mac gets better at it (getting there).

 

The eternal battle huh ? I'll go for PC because it is cheaper to build , cheaper to run and by miles more customizable .
