Personally I like PC's since I've been brought up on them and never used aything else. I like it too and it's easy to use. But I guess I can't really say unless I've tried a MAC
I don't care. It's the end result that matters. If you can't design on a PC, it's not going to get any better with a Mac. The software is all the same. I use an Atari STe.
I started out with PC's and have never found a reason to change. I have so much ivested in the PC area moving to a Mac would be like learning to walk again.
I don't like macs for some reason. They are stable and you don't need to download all the ware but PCs are familiar, the parts are easy to replace and more people use them. Talking compatibility...
its interesting because they say macs have no viruses, however i have never once had a virus on my PC.
I have used a PC since elementary school, it's what I've grown up on. I've just learned the wonders of a Mac on the Purdue campus two months ago. I don't think it's really that wonderful. It looked cool, though. I have to give it that. I mean, who wouldn't love a giant iPod?
honestly it's a matter of opinion. there isn't one that is necessarily better or worse than the other. if you're a designer, you're more inclined to use a mac because 90% of the design industry uses a mac in the work place. 80% of personal computers on the other hand are probably pc's being as they're substancially cheaper. personally i prefer a mac but right now i work on a pc.
