Thinking of purchasing a new mac laptop, is there ever a discount available? (Besides teacher/student)
When I first enquired on the sales line they offered me £70 off if I closed then and there. Just ask. I didn't close it right away and they extended the discount for 10 days anyway. Always ask and always ask beyond the wood duck answering the phone who has no authority. Prices are NEVER set in stone.
I'd check out eBay if I were you. A good looking G4 powerbook recently sold for $500 on it. They have a lot of new deals on it and you'll be able to find a good deal there.
