Has anyone used M2E pro for Magento? What are some good alternatives to managing inventory across multiple channels? M2E is free but does it work well? Has anyone found success with it?

Yep, works fine. I will try to conjur up an example but my current e commerce clients can't sell stuff like e cigs on amazon so I have not futzed with it in a while.

Keep in mind Magento was purchased by Ebay and are partnered with those folks so its a safe assumption that is works like a champ.

I've never heard of M2E before. I've been looking for a more affordable store solution for a while. It's hard to keep paying up front when first starting out.

If you get Magento Community edition then it's free. M2E Pro has signed a partnership agreement with eBay and therefore is also completely free. So all you pay with Magento/M2E Pro is hosting fee. Why this offer is too good to believe? Because eBay owns Magento and has ability to invest thousands of pounds into platform development. To me, Magento is a safe bet...

by the way, Argos uses M2E Pro. If it works for Agros, why can't it work for you?

    Hi Brent,

    In short, Yes.

Alex is right, Argos do about £2.6M - £3M a month using a hybrid system of Magento & M2E Pro.

I found M2E Pro in March when the other options were either not possible, too expensive or didn't work the way we needed them too. We created a eBay store with 61,152 products over 2,400 variations and saved us a minimum of £400 a month as it was just web hosting that was needed.

But Magento is a bit nerdy and so is the setup of M2EPro, working on reducing this to "Plain English" at the moment and will have +60 video guides ready for January 1st and will be able to show you (and the rest of the world) how to do it yourself, properly.

    Hi Brent,
Yes, I've installed and configured and for some part managed listings using M2E pro both when it was paid earlier and now that its free. Works great and does all what it says on the cover.
Video by Nigel is really helpful. If you still have questions, feel free to respond back here and I'd be happy to take a look at it for free :))
