Hi guyz, Today I am gonna visit my friends house to create a video. I have a laptop and gonna be using my friend's desktop as well. In this video I will be demonstrating couple of tools which will help others. So in some part I will need to record that desktop's screen and in rest i will need to show the laptop's screen. I am not really good with video making. So can any of you give me any idea that how cud i go abt it? I have recoreded my own screen for few times, but havent really worked with 2 computers on the same video so any help wud really be appreciated. Thanks.
If you are just going to capture your screen activity then you can just use camtasia. They have a 30-day free trial so you can check it out first.
Try www.camstudio.org for your screen capture movies, it's FREE and GOOD. Install it on both computers. Record your desktop and laptop movies, then dump the raw footage to the computer you'll be using for editing - via LAN, USB stick, or DVD (or interknits if you've got the bandwidth). Then use something FREE like Windows Movie Maker (kinda crap, but free), or VirtualDub (good, free, but complex) to cut and paste it all together.
