Can google penalize you if you lie in your meta description? For example if i have a wallpaper website of cars and the website only has 20 wallpapers, but the meta description says that you have 2,000,000 wallpapers.

    get what i mean?
can you be penalized or banned in google for this?

I don't think the robot would be able to determine that as a lie.

Now if you put "cars, pamela anderson, plasma tv" in your meta description for a playstation3 site... the bots would be able to tell it wasn't related to your content.

I think you should be fine.

But your visitors will penalize you. if they see the 2,000,000 wallpapers turn into pcs. =)

No, maybe your visitors will say, hey! what happen here! but Google doesn't know about it, maybe (this is remote) your visitors can report to Google....

In this case visitors may harm you but not Google.
